Diocese of Itabuna holds VII Encontro Diocesano do Terço dos Homens

The Diocese of Itabuna held its VII Diocesan Meeting of the Men's Rosary to promote prayer and unity among the faithful. The event brought together men, women, children, and various groups from parishes in the North and South deaneries.

The day began with a procession from the square in front of Santo Antônio Parish through the city center to the AFI College. After a breakfast, Father Ricardo Nunes de Rezende led the adoration and blessing of the Blessed Sacrament. Father Josafá Souza da Cruz, from São Sebastião Parish in Camacan, gave a sermon on the importance of prayer in family life, devotion to the Virgin Mary, and the role of praying men in daily life.

The afternoon program included a prize drawing and the recitation of the Rosary, with members from different parishes leading each mystery. The meeting concluded with the celebration of Holy Mass.
