The Diocese of Itabuna is a Latin Church suffragan diocese in the state of Bahia, Brazil, established in 1978 from territory of the Diocese of Ilheus. Its current bishop, Dom Jailton de Oliveira Lino, took canonical possession in April 2025.

History
In Bahia state in eastern Brazil, the Diocese of Itabuna (Latin: Dioecesis Itabunensis) serves as a Latin suffragan see within the ecclesiastical province of São Salvador da Bahia. Its episcopal seat is the Catedral São José, dedicated to Saint Joseph, in the city of Itabuna.
