The Cathedral of the Holy Cross serves as the cathedral for the Catholic Archdiocese of Boston. It is located in Massachusetts and functions as the archdiocese’s mother church. Dedicated to the True Cross, it dates from 1875 and was designed by Patrick Charles Keely in the Gothic Revival style. The see itself was erected earlier, in 1808.
