San Agustín Cathedral serves as the seat of the Catholic Diocese of Laredo, Texas. Located on San Agustin Avenue within the historic district of Laredo, it is the mother church for the diocese. The cathedral’s construction reflects a Gothic Revival style and is recognized as a National Register of Historic Places contributing property, as well as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. The see was erected in 2000.
