St. Lucy Parish

Established in 1925 in Newark's historic Little Italy (Old First Ward), St. Lucy's is the American National Shrine of Saint Gerard Majella and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its October feast and procession honoring St. Gerard draws the New Jersey Italian community.
