Our Lady of the Rosary
Louisburg, NC
Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church is located in Louisburg, North Carolina. The parish began as an itinerant mission serving local Catholics and those attending Louisburg College. In 1999, under Bishop Joseph Gossman's appointment, Sister Elizabeth Bullen became Pastoral Administrator, and the community adopted the name "Our Lady of the Rosary." Services were initially held in rented spaces before moving to a former dance studio in 2007. With continued growth, the parish is now home to nearly 300 registered families. Under the guidance of Father John Raharjo and Father Ryan Carnecer, CICM, the community has worked towards building a permanent church on Highway 39 north of Louisburg. The parish serves Franklin County through various ministries, including a food pantry that assists 150 families monthly.
