Saint Sophia Ukrainian Greek Catholic Mission is located at 8312 White Oak Road, Garner, NC 27529. This mission church was established through the merger of two existing parishes: St. Volodymyr and Olha, traditionally celebrated in the Ukrainian language, and St. Nicholas Mission, which used English. The new church is part of the St. Josaphat Eparchy of Parma, Ohio, under Bishop Bohdan Danylo. Saint Sophia offers Divine Liturgy services on various days throughout the week, including Tuesday at 5 pm, Wednesday at 10 am, Thursday at 6 pm, Friday and Saturday at 8 am, and Sunday at 8:30 am in English and 10:30 am in Ukrainian. The church celebrates its history through the stories of Sts. Faith, Hope, and Agape on September 17th each year.
