Saint Mary, Mother of the Church

St. Mary Mother of the Church is located in Garner, North Carolina. The parish was established as a mission without a pastor until 1967 when Father Charles Mulholland became its first pastor. The church building was dedicated on August 29, 1965, and the first Mass was celebrated in April 1964 in a rented former beauty shop. Since then, St. Mary has grown significantly, adding facilities such as St. Joseph Hall and an outdoor Marian shrine. The parish now serves over 1,200 families and continues to expand its community through various ministries and volunteer efforts.
