Saint Matthew

St. Matthew Catholic Community is located in Durham, North Carolina. Established by the Catholic Diocese of Raleigh in July 1990, the parish was founded with about 100 families from Immaculate Conception Church. The first Mass was celebrated in a newly constructed church on Mason Road in July 1994. In 1997, St. Matthew Catholic Cemetery was established as the only Catholic cemetery in Durham County. Currently, 450 families are registered at the parish. All are welcome to join the community for various services held throughout the week and on weekends.
