Light of Christ

Light of Christ Catholic Church is located in Clearwater, Florida. Established by Archbishop Joseph P. Hurley of the Diocese of St. Augustine in early 1966, the parish has been a sign of Christ’s love in the community for over five decades. The first Mass was celebrated in February of that year, initially in the Visual Aid Room of Clearwater High School, before moving to the high school auditorium and eventually to their current location by Thanksgiving 1970. Light of Christ is dedicated to fostering a vibrant faith community through various ministries and encourages parishioners to share their gifts.
