Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Land O Lakes, FL, was established in 1952 when thirty adults received approval to form a mission church due to the shortage of diocesan priests. The first Mass was celebrated on October 5, 1952, in a VFW hall. By 1958, the parish had outgrown its original location and moved to a new site on Collier Parkway, where it remains today. Over the years, the church has expanded with additions like Mary's House and Immaculata Hall. The parish continues to grow under the leadership of various abbots and priests, including Reverend Justin P. Paskert since 2021.
