St. Cecelia Catholic Church is located in Clearwater, Florida. Named after Saint Cecilia, the patron saint of church music and art, the parish was founded with a generous donation from Robert Brown, a wealthy winter resident. The church gained official status as a parish in 1929 under the leadership of its first pastor, Fr. Thomas A. Colreavy, who served for 40 years. St. Cecelia has grown into an important landmark and symbol of Catholicism in central Florida. The parish offers faith formation programs for children and youth, and encourages volunteer involvement through various ministries.
