St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church is located in Seffner, Florida, within the Diocese of St. Petersburg. Established on November 10, 1987, by Bishop W. Thomas Larkin, the parish was founded and initially served by Father Christopher R. Fitzgerald, I.C., a Rosminian priest. Since its inception, the church has grown from a small storefront to a vibrant community spanning over 20 acres. The current pastor, Father Edison Bernavas, I.C., leads the parish in its mission of fostering a Christ-centered, multi-cultural family environment. St. Francis of Assisi offers daily Mass and various ministries, including youth programs and a dinner ministry for the needy.
