St. Matthew Catholic Church is located in Largo, Florida. The church began as a mission that met in the multipurpose room of Osceola Middle School and has grown into a vibrant community serving almost 800 families. The first Mass was celebrated on January 4, 1986, with more than 100 families registering that weekend. On November 30, 1986, groundbreaking for the new church took place, and the first Mass inside the building was held on Christmas Eve 1987. The parish continues to offer a warm welcome to all visitors and members of the community.
