Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Parish is located in Half Moon Bay, California. Founded in 1868 by Archbishop Alemany, it was the second parish established in San Mateo County and covers approximately 500 square miles. The current church was dedicated in 1954, with Masses held on Monday through Saturday at 8 am, Saturday Vigil at 5 pm, and Sundays at 8 am, 10 am, and 6 pm. Spanish Mass is offered on Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 12 pm. The parish also has missions in St. Anthony’s Church in Pescadero and Our Lady of Refuge in La Honda. Perpetual Adoration is available from 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the Sacred Heart Chapel. The parish honors Our Lady of the Pillar, named after the famous shrine in Zaragoza, Spain.
