St. Thomas Aquinas Parish serves the Catholic community in Palo Alto, California. The parish, part of the Diocese of San José, supports three worship sites: St. Thomas Aquinas Church, St. Albert the Great Church, and Our Lady of the Rosary Church. Founded with the growth of Palo Alto from Mayfield, it is unique as a single parish for the city's population. Rev. Estanislao Mikalonis serves as pastor. The parish traces its roots to 1769 when Franciscan friars celebrated Mass at El Palo Alto during the Portola expedition.
