Holy Name Cathedral serves as the cathedral of the Diocese of Steubenville. It is dedicated to Holy Name of Jesus and dates from 1890. The see was erected in 1944, establishing the cathedral as the official seat for the diocese. Currently, Holy Name Cathedral has been closed since 2014.
