Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church serves the community of Boca Grande, Florida. Built in 1950 and designed by architect F. Burrell Hoffman, the church was dedicated by Archbishop Joseph Hurley. Before a resident priest was assigned in 1984, the parish was served by priests from nearby parishes. In 1988, Our Lady of Mercy was elevated to a full parish with Father Jerome Carosella as its first pastor. Currently, Father Anthony Hewitt leads the community. The church is part of a small but dedicated congregation in a predominantly retired and seasonal population area. Visitors are welcome to worship and pray. Regular weekend Masses are held on Saturday at 5 pm and Sunday at 9 am and 10:30 am, with daily Masses from Monday to Friday at 8 am.
