Resurrection of Our Lord Parish

Resurrection of Our Lord Parish is located in Fort Myers, Florida. Established in 1974 by Bishop Charles McLaughlin, the parish began as a mission of St. Cecilia's Church before becoming an independent entity. The first pastor, Rev. Stephen E. McNamara, was appointed that year. Initially serving from the Newman Center built for Edison Junior College, the church purchased its current property in 1977. Construction on the new church building began in 1982 and was completed in 1983. The parish continues to serve the growing community of Fort Myers with various Masses and spiritual activities.
