St. Catherine Catholic Church of Sebring, Florida, celebrated its 100th anniversary recently. The church traces its origins back to the early 1900s when mass was held in private homes and Kenilworth Lodge. The first permanent church building was constructed on Hickory Street in 1923, before the current location was built in 1926. Throughout the years, various priests have served the parish, including Father Patrick O'Brien, who arrived in 1937, and Father Jose González, the current pastor.
