St. Patrick Parish is located in Sarasota, Florida. The parish was established on October 29 and 30, 1988, with its first Masses celebrated at the Disabled American Veterans Hall on Bee Ridge Road. In February 1989, the parish moved to an office complex that could accommodate up to 250 people. Construction of a permanent church began in August 1991 and was completed by July 1992. The first regularly scheduled Masses were held in April 1992, including a Sunrise Service on Easter Sunday. The Church was dedicated on October 25, 1992. In 1993, plans for the Parish Center began, which was later completed and dedicated in 1995. A chapel was also constructed through the generosity of Ray and Maxine Schirmer in 1996.
