St. Mary Star of the Sea (St. Mary & Holy Savior Parish) is a Catholic parish located in Ocean City, Maryland. Founded in 1875, it was the first Catholic church in Ocean City. The parish has a rich history rooted in the early days of the seaside resort. Initially worshiping in a rented cottage, the community grew to establish a permanent chapel by 1878. Today, St. Mary Star of the Sea continues as a vibrant faith community committed to worship, service, and spiritual growth.
