Holy Family Parish

Navarre, OH

Holy Family Parish serves the communities of Brewster and Navarre in Ohio. Formed in August 2011 through the merger of St. Therese Church in Brewster and St. Clement Church in Navarre, the parish emerged as a response to priest shortages and changing demographics within the Youngstown Diocese. St. Clement Church traces its origins back to 1832 when it was established near the Ohio and Erie Canal. Over the years, the church has seen various pastors, with Fr. Anthony Boeff serving for nearly three decades until his retirement in 1964. Meanwhile, St. Therese Church was founded in 1927 by immigrant families from Italy, Croatia, and Slovenia. The parish continues to uphold its mission of living faith centered on the Eucharist, sharing the Gospel through word and example, serving others with mercy and justice, and loving the world around them.
