St. Michael the Archangel Parish

St. Michael the Archangel is a Catholic community located in Canton, Ohio. Founded on June 27, 1952, by Bishop Emmet M. Walsh to serve the needs of Catholics in Lake Cable, Hills and Dales, Avondale, and surrounding areas, the parish was led initially by Reverend Ferdinand Hartmann. The parish has a rich history rooted in community cooperation, with early members forming guilds and men's clubs to support the development of the parish. Today, St. Michael the Archangel continues to welcome all who seek spiritual companionship on their journey to the reign of God.
