Archbishop gives Mass dispensation

Archbishop Charles C. Thompson of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis has granted a dispensation from Mass attendance for those affected by increased immigration enforcement activity. The dispensation lasts through the end of September.

Archbishop Thompson issued the statement following a large increase in activity from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Indianapolis and central Indiana during the week before Labor Day.
