Bahía Blanca is a Latin rite metropolitan archdiocese in southern Buenos Aires province, Argentina, erected as a diocese in 1934 and elevated to an archdiocese in 1957. It is the metropolitan see of the ecclesiastical province covering Patagonia, with its seat at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Mercy.
