History
Eastern Oregon in the United States is the territory of the Diocese of Baker (Latin: Dioecesis Bakeriensis), a suffragan within the province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Portland. Saint Francis de Sales Cathedral stands in Baker City, though the pastoral offices are in Redmond. The bishop is Thomas J. Hennen.
