History
Central Washington State in the United States is served by the Diocese of Yakima (Latin: Dioecesis Yakimensis), a Catholic see suffragan to the metropolitan Archdiocese of Seattle. St. Paul Cathedral in Yakima is its mother church, and as of 2026 Joseph J. Tyson holds the office of bishop.
