Western Montana in the United States belongs to the Diocese of Helena (Latin: Dioecesis Helenensis), erected in 1884 as a suffragan within the ecclesiastical province of the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon. The Cathedral of Saint Helena in Helena serves as its see church.
