Its seat is St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Dinajpur. Bishop Sebastian Tudu has led the diocese since his election on 29 October 2011 (consecrated 27 January 2012).

Dinajpur District, in Bangladesh's Rajshahi Division, holds the Roman Catholic Diocese of Dinajpur (Latin: Diœcesis Dinaipurensis), a see within the ecclesiastical province of Dhaka.
