History
In southern Brazil, the Diocese of Cachoeira do Sul (Latin: Dioecesis Cachoëirensis Australis) is a suffragan see of the ecclesiastical province of Santa Maria. Its cathedral, the Catedral da Nossa Senhora da Conceição, honors Our Lady of Conception and stands in the city of Cachoeira do Sul, in Rio Grande do Sul state.
