The Diocese of Cruz Alta is a Latin Church diocese in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, established in 1971 from the Diocese of Santa Maria. Originally a suffragan of Porto Alegre, it was transferred to the province of Santa Maria in 2011, with its see at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Cruz Alta.
