The Diocese of Governador Valadares is a Latin Church diocese in eastern Minas Gerais, Brazil, suffragan to the Archdiocese of Mariana. It was established by Pope Pius XII in 1956.

History
Governador Valadares gives its name to this Brazilian diocese (Latin: Dioecesis Valadarensis), which forms part of the ecclesiastical province of Mariana.
