History
In northeastern Brazil, the Diocese of Imperatriz (Latin: Dioecesis Imperatricis) is a suffragan Latin see within the province of the Metropolitan of São Luís do Maranhão. Its episcopal seat is the Catedral Nossa Senhora da Fátima, dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima, in the city of Imperatriz in Maranhão state.
