Erected on April 14, 1928 from territory of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Belém do Pará, the Territorial Prelature of Marajó (Latin: Praelatura Territorialis Maraiensis) is seated in the city of Marajó within that same ecclesiastical province in Brazil.
