The Archdiocese of Bujumbura is the metropolitan Latin Church see for its ecclesiastical province in Burundi, originating as the Apostolic Vicariate of Usumbura in 1959 and elevated to a metropolitan archdiocese in 2006. Its suffragans are Bubanza and Bururi, and it is led by Archbishop Gervais Banshimiyubusa.
