The Diocese of London is a Latin Church diocese in southwestern Ontario, erected in 1856 and suffragan to the Archdiocese of Toronto. Daniel Joseph Miehm was appointed its 11th bishop in April 2026, succeeding Ronald Fabbro, CSB.

History

A suffragan in the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Toronto, the Diocese of London (Latin: Diœcesis Londonensis) is a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in Canada. Its present episcopal see, St. Peter's Cathedral in London, Ontario, rose between 1880 and 1885 in a French Gothic Revival style, and Pope John XXIII raised it to the status of a minor basilica in December, 1961.
