Latin-rite metropolitan archdiocese covering the capital of the Republic of the Congo, erected in 1886 as the Apostolic Vicariate of French Congo and promoted to Metropolitan Archdiocese of Brazzaville by Pope Pius XII on 14 September 1955. Its seat is the Cathedrale Sacre-Coeur in Brazzaville, and its suffragans include Gamboma and Kinkala. Archbishop Bienvenu Manamika Bafouakouahou took possession of the see on 21 November 2021.

History
Brazzaville, in the Republic of the Congo, is the Metropolitan See of its own ecclesiastical province, governed as the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Brazzaville (Latin: Archidioecesis Brazzapolitana).
