Immediately subject to the Holy See, it has been led by Bishop Steven J. Lopes since 2016.

History
Created for Anglican (Episcopal) converts in the United States and Canada, the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter (Latin: Ordinariatus Personalis Cathedrae Sancti Petri) is a personal ordinariate of the Latin Church, standing under the direct authority of the Holy See. It also welcomes former members of communions of "Anglican heritage", Methodist churches among them. In their Masses and worship, ordinariate parishes preserve elements of Anglican liturgy and tradition.
What is kept by invitation
