The Apostolic Prefecture of Jian'ou is a Latin rite missionary jurisdiction in Nanping, Fujian, China, immediately subject to the Holy See. Erected in 1931 as the Mission sui iuris of Kienow from the Vicariate Apostolic of Fuzhou and elevated to an apostolic prefecture on 8 January 1938, it was entrusted to the Dominicans. The see is vacant; in 1950 it counted about 1,450 Catholics.

History
Immediately subject to the Holy See, the Apostolic Prefecture of Jian'ou has its seat in the city of Jian'ou. The Apostolic Vicariate of Jian'ou was erected on 8 January 1938 and entrusted to the Dominican Order, and by 1950 the jurisdiction counted around 1450 faithful.
