The Apostolic Prefecture of Lixian is a Latin rite pre-diocesan jurisdiction of the Catholic Church with its seat in Lixian (Li County), Hunan, central China. It is exempt, directly dependent on the Holy See, and was erected in 1931 from the Diocese of Changde's territory. The see is vacant, under an apostolic administrator since 2012.

Seated at Lixian (Li County, Hunan) in central China, the Apostolic Prefecture of Lixian is a Latin rite pre-diocesan jurisdiction of the Catholic Church. Being exempt, it depends directly on the Holy See rather than on any ecclesiastical province, and on the missionary Roman Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. No statistics are available. Its neighbors are its mother diocese Changde, the dioceses of Yuanling 沅陵 and Yichang 宜昌, and the Apostolic Prefectures of Shashi 沙市 and Yueyang 岳陽. The prefecture is vacant and has been under an Apostolic administrator since 2012.
