The Roman Catholic Diocese of Lüliang is located in Lüliang, Shanxi, China, a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Taiyuan. It was erected on 28 October 2024 from the suppressed Diocese of Fenyang, one of the new dioceses created under the Sino-Vatican agreement. Its cathedral is the Cathedral Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Fenyang, and its first bishop, Anthony Ji Weizhong, was confirmed the same day; the diocese counts about 20,000 Catholics.

History

In the ecclesiastical province of Taiyuan in China, the city of Lüliang in Shanxi is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lüliang (simplified Chinese: 吕梁; traditional Chinese: 呂梁).
