Latin-rite diocese (historically Shunteh) in southern Hebei province, China, erected in 1933 as an apostolic prefecture carved from the Apostolic Vicariate of Zhengding, raised to apostolic vicariate in 1944 and to diocese in 1946. A suffragan of the Archdiocese of Beijing, it has been led by Bishop Shi Guangdong since his ordination in 2008.
