Latin Church apostolic prefecture in Hebei, China, near Beijing and Baoding. Established on May 25, 1929 as the Mission sui iuris of Yixian from the Apostolic Vicariates of Beijing and Baodingfu and promoted to apostolic prefecture on December 9, 1935. It is exempt, directly subject to the Holy See; the prefecture has been vacant since 2015, when its last prefect, Cosmas Shi Enxiang, died.
