History
In north(west)ern China, the Diocese of Ningxia, also called Yinchuan (Latin: Nimsciian(us), simplified Chinese: 宁夏/银川; traditional Chinese: 寧夏/銀川; pinyin: Níngxià/Yínchuān), is a Latin Rite suffragan diocese in the ecclesiastical province of the Metropolitan Archbishopric of Suiyuan, though it depends on the missionary Roman Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. Its episcopal see, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, stands in the city of Yinchuan in the Ningxia autonomous region. No statistics are available.
What is kept by invitation
The record above is published because it is public: what this see is, when it was erected, who holds its chair, and where it stands among its neighbours.
The working record is not. The chancery's address, telephone and email, the clergy of the see, and the hours of Mass, confession and adoration in the parishes within it are kept for members, and a person reads every request.
