Latin-rite diocese covering the Putumayo department and parts of Cauca and Narino in southern Colombia, with sees at Mocoa and Sibundoy, suffragan of the Archdiocese of Florencia since 2019. Established on 8 February 1951 as the Apostolic Vicariate of Sibundoy from the Apostolic Vicariate of Caqueta, it was elevated to a diocese on 29 October 1999. The official diocesan site presents the Cathedral of San Miguel Arcangel in Mocoa as its cathedral.
