Latin-rite apostolic vicariate in Ecuador's northern Amazon, established as a prefecture apostolic on 16 April 1924 from the Apostolic Vicariate of Napo and elevated to apostolic vicariate on 2 July 1984. Its cathedral is the Catedral Nuestra Senora del Cisne in Nueva Loja, Sucumbios Province. Bishop Celmo Lazzari has been vicar apostolic since November 2013.

The city of Nueva Loja, in Ecuador's Sucumbíos Province, holds the Catedral Nuestra Señora del Cisne, cathedral see of the Apostolic Vicariate of San Miguel de Sucumbíos (Latin: Apostolicus Vicariatus Sancti Michaëlis de Sucumbios), a missionary entity of the Roman Catholic Church.
