Latin Church archdiocese in Emilia-Romagna, Italy, elevated to archdiocese in 1735 and combined with the Diocese of Comacchio in 1986. Despite holding archiepiscopal rank it is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Bologna. Archbishop Giancarlo Perego has led the see since 2017.

History
Since 1986, when the diocese of Comacchio was joined to the historical archdiocese of Ferrara, the Catholic Church has counted the Archdiocese of Ferrara-Comacchio (Latin: Archidioecesis Ferrariensis-Comaclensis) among its Latin Church archdioceses. It is a suffragan of the archdiocese of Bologna. The episcopal seat moved in 657 from Vicohabentia (Voghenza) to the newly founded Ferrara; the earliest known bishop of Vicohabentia, Marcellinus, was consecrated c. 429-431.
