It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Agana (Guam); its cathedral is the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

History
Spanning the Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau, the Catholic Diocese of Caroline Islands (Latin: Diœcesis Carolinensium) is a suffragan diocese of the Ecclesiastical Province of Agaña. A bishop leads the diocese and pastors its mother church, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
