The Archdiocese of Bordeaux (Bordeaux-Bazas) is a Latin rite metropolitan archdiocese covering the Gironde department in southwestern France, with origins in the 3rd century. Its province includes the dioceses of Agen, Aire et Dax, Bayonne and Perigueux. Its seat is the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Bordeaux.

History
Bordeaux Cathedral, in Aquitaine, holds the episcopal seat of the Archdiocese of Bordeaux (-Bazas) (Latin: Archidioecesis Burdigalensis (-Bazensis); French: Archidiocèse de Bordeaux (-Bazas); Occitan: Archidiocèsi de Bordèu (-Vasats)), an archdiocese of the Latin Church in France.
